Okay...long time no giving critiques. Let's start, shall we?

So the first thing to nitice is the anatomy. You have improved a lot. Flare's paws are just in the right size, not too long nor too big. And her head, too. It was well placed, and not too small like sometimes you accidently did (not so many times). Keep up the good work on anatomy girl.

Second is the shading. Pretty simple, but it's fit with the picture. BUT, I think the shading of Flare's neckfluff and tail would need more effort, along the shading of her hair, too. The highlight is also something that makes the whole picture look brighter and better. It gives some dimension, or something like that (sorry, bad english) effect to the picture. Very nice touch indeed.

Third is the heart. I think you may wanna try to give more transparency to the center of the heart. The whole thing is transparent, right? So why not draw it like a bubble? And the fire... It's very awesome. But try to lessen those thin lines of the flame, it will look like some sort of fur or something.

The background is just something simple, but I like it, because it makes the character more stand out and such.

Anyway, very nice job on this one. Keep it up! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="357" title="Heart"/>
